Some special nights can be good enough as well. A gift basket is a good option. Of course, staying at home with some movies on disc can be great as well because of the rising costs of going to the movies.

A journal can be one of the best affordable gifts to use for the holiday. Journals are available in all sorts of sizes, shapes, and styles. Some can come with spots to put a picture on the front. This is an especially great option in that it can make the journal even more personal among a couple. Of course, the journal is filled with empty pages, so it will be best to see if the gift recipient likes the design of the journal so that the person will be more likely to write entries into the journal. Having the first page filled with a love note will be great as well, as it will encourage the recipient to add to the note.
