Project prom dress: Teen designers get creative with prom dresses made from newspapers

The Free Press put the call out in March. We wanted metro Detroit high school students to make a prom dress or accessory out of newspaper for a chance to win $500. Teens from around the metro area spent the following weeks gluing, stapling and taping our pages into fashion. We crossed our fingers, and hoped talent would shine. It did.

As a teen, Mitt Romney apparently had pretty stong ideas about hair -- so strong that when a classmate at the private, all-boys Cranbrook School he attended showed up with long, bleached blond hair that fell over one eye, Romney reportedly led a group of his frends to right matters.
