Before you start, make sure you vacuum the area thoroughly, to help remove as much dirt and debris as possible. Once you finish cleaning your carpet, make certain that you clean out your machine and store it according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and once the carpet has completely dried, move the furniture back into the room.

Steam cleaning your carpets can be a lot of work, but is something that we should all do, and maybe even more often than every six months, if you have children, or indoor pets especially.
